The National Assembly Standing Committee on Law and Justice recommended with majority that the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, 2019 as amended by the Committee may be passed by the Assembly.
The committee meeting held under Chairmanship of MNA Riaz Fatyana, unanimously confirmed the minutes of its previous meeting held on 2nd of this month.
The Committee after detailed deliberations deferred the Bill "The Muslim Family Laws Amendment Bill 2019" with observations that minor changes were required in it.
