The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday launched a five-year plan to improve quality of food items in the province.
Inaugurating the program, Provincial Minister for Food, Haji Qalandar Lodhi said under the program, more than one thousand industrial units producing food items will be bound to follow national and international standards.
Besides, the units will also be provided technical assistance for inclusion of healthy nutrients in flour and cooking oil.
